About Me

Marlie Collins is a Vancouver-based singer, actor, voice actor, and producer. She is a powerhouse vocalist and performer with a bold, soulful sound and over a decade of experience performing around the world. Within that sound is an intimate subtlety that draws you in.

Over the past decade, Marlie has built a dynamic career rooted in classical music and musical theatre. Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, she began studying classical music before earning her performance diploma from the Canadian College of Performing Arts. Early in her career (2012–2016), she toured internationally, performing for months at a time with a funk and soul band throughout Southeast Asia, including Malaysia and Vietnam. She later received lead roles with the Arts Club Theatre Company in Xanadu (Kira) and Rock of Ages (Sherrie).

As an original artist, Marlie released her self-titled debut album in 2018, blending southern soul with a modern ’70s funk edge, rich grooves, and heartfelt lyrics. She also created MarlieMarlow, a piano-vocal duo centered on intimate storytelling and a musical journey close to her heart. Alongside her original work, Marlie performs with Side One, a corporate event band, and is the lead singer for Moon Coin Productions’ internationally touring ABBA tribute, ABRA CADABRA.

Since 2015, Marlie has built a successful career as a voice actor, appearing in numerous commercial and radio campaigns. She transitioned into film and television in 2016, quickly landing supporting roles. By 2023, she received leading roles in Just Like a Christmas Movie (Netflix), Been There All Along (Crave), and The Perfect Manicure (The Dove Channel), alongside many supporting roles in Hallmark films and television series.

As a producer, Marlie has produced and starred in multiple short films that gained recognition at film festivals. A true multi-hyphenate creative—songstress, powerhouse vocalist, actor, and dancer—she continues her artistic journey with the release of her second album in 2026, while touring with ABRA CADABRA and performing consistently across Vancouver and Canada.
